Bree Zeyzus Johns, MD

Dr. Bree Zeyzus Johns earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Biology and Molecular Biology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She worked three years as a preclinical researcher in a cancer chemoprevention laboratory at the University of Miami, FL. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. While her medical training path started in General Surgery, she followed her love for primary care and preventive medicine, and completed residency training in Family Medicine at Abington-Jefferson Health. Dr. Johns joined the Wynnewood Internal Medicine Practice at Main Line Health, where she has cared for patients ages 16 through 100 for four years.
Dr. Johns is double board-certified in Family Medicine and in Lifestyle Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Lifestyle Medicine, and the American College of Physicians. She continues to contribute to peer reviewed literature, having published in the Journal of Lifestyle Medicine in 2024. She is passionate about partnering with patients to live their healthiest, most vital, active and joyful lives, in every decade of life. She emphasizes the importance of nutrition, exercise, stress management and sleep in the care of her patients.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Johns can be found exploring nature with her husband and two daughters, cooking nutritious meals from her garden, or hiking with her two labrador retrievers.
