Leila A. Obeid, MD
Dr. Leila Obeid, born in Nevada and having spent much of her life in New Orleans, is a dedicated internist and proud graduate of LSU School of Medicine (Go Tigers!). Her journey into internal medicine arose from a deep-rooted passion for the biological sciences and her interest in the human experience.
Dr. Obeid is committed to providing evidence-based medicine to treat illness, in addition to empowering her patients to live a balanced and healthy life. She finds fulfillment in building trusting, empathetic relationships that allow her to understand each patient's unique perspective. This insight enables her to offer personalized, compassionate care that respects the individual life story of each person she treats.
With over twenty years in medicine, Dr. Obeid finds that her growth as both a physician and a mother has been shaped by the wisdom and life lessons she's gained from her patients. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, running outdoors, playing tennis and reading.
